Student (m/f/d) as Software Developer

Who are we and what do we do?

Northh Medical is a Hamburg-based medical technology startup. We have developed smart-sync — an innovative Doppler Ultrasound device that enables high-quality cardiac MRI for both adults and fetuses.

We are currently expanding our product portfolio and are looking for you as a motivated student at the beginning of his/her studies in Computer Science or similar.

Aufgaben

What will you do?

As a working student, you will work closely with our development team and contribute directly to an innovative medical technology device.

Your tasks will include:

• Implementing and improving internal web-based tools, supported by modern AI coding assistants (great opportunity to learn efficient development workflows)
• Supporting feature development in node.js, Python and/or C++
• Improving segmentations in MR images and helping train AI segmentation models for medical imaging

You will receive guidance and mentoring, but you will also work independently on meaningful tasks right from the start.

Qualifikation

• You want to improve your software programming skills and actively support our team.
• You are eager to dive into real projects, have an analytical mindset, and bring technical understanding and first programming experience.
• No extensive prior professional experience is required — we value enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and a hands-on attitude above all.
