Scanning Site Supervisor

The Scanning Site Supervisor in Hamburg oversees daily operations for document and materials digitization, ensuring efficient, accurate, and secure processing. This role involves managing scanning operators, troubleshooting, implementing process improvements, and maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.

Tasks

• Operational Management: Direct daily scanning operations including preparation, scanning, quality control, and data export.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage scanning operators, ensuring adherence to policies and performance targets.
• Quality & Productivity: Implement quality control, monitor production, and optimize workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
• Equipment & Process Improvement: Oversee scanner maintenance and troubleshooting, continuously identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and data privacy protocols.
• Reporting & Inventory: Prepare operational reports and manage the secure flow and tracking of physical documents.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; vocational training with extensive experience considered.
• Experience: 1-2 years in a management supervisory or team lead role within a high-volume scanning/digitization environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with scanning equipment and software, understanding of image processing (OCR), DMS/CMS, and Google Suite.
• Language Skills: Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
• Leadership: Strong ability to lead and motivate a production team.
• Problem-Solving & Detail: Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Organization & Communication: Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
