(Junior) Technical Superintendent (m/f/d) LNG Vessels

As a (Junior) Technical Superintendent (m/f/d) LNG Vessels at Pronav, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and cost‑efficient technical operation of assigned LNG vessels. In this role, you serve as a key link between ship and shore, safeguarding operational excellence, maintaining strong client relationships, and upholding the highest standards of safety, maintenance, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the safe, reliable, and cost‑efficient technical operation of assigned vessels within defined budgets and performance expectations.

• Ensure effective maintenance planning and execution to maintain vessel integrity and operational readiness.

• Maintain close communication with clients and foster strong working relationships with client representatives.

• Plan, arrange, and execute drydock activities at scheduled intervals.

• Conduct vessel visits, audits, and inspections to verify compliance and performance standards.

• Review, oversee, and authorize required technical expenditures.

• Ensure adherence to environmental compliance policies and operational best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.S. degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent, or a Chief Engineer’s qualification.

• Preferred experience with LNG vessels or extensive tanker experience, gained either in a senior onboard role or in a comparable shore-based position.

• Strong background in steam propulsion systems is considered highly beneficial.
