Working Student (m/f/d) Purchasing / Supply Chain Management

Your mission

As a Working Student in our Purchasing team, you will support the day-to-day operations and help improve our procurement processes. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment while learning about purchasing, supplier management and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day to day operational purchasing tasks (e.g., order creation, tracking, coordination with departments).

• Handle requests from different departments and ensure timely procurement of required consumables.

• Assist in category management by consolidating purchases, organizing spend data, and identifying opportunities to optimize supplier spend.

• Support optimization of purchasing processes (e.g., simplifying order flows, improving approval workflows, standardizing documentation).

• Help maintain procurement documentation like contracts, NDAs, material certificates.

Your profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, ideally in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

• Interest in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Structured, reliable, and proactive working style with a hands-on attitude.

• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus (e.g., Odoo, SAP), or willingness to quickly learn new digital tools.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to coordinate effectively with different departments on a daily basis.

• Good communication skills in English

• You should be enrolled as a student for at least 1 year or more

• Based in Hamburg
