Offshore Deputy Supervisor (m/f/d) Nordseecluster

We are looking for committed employees to ensure the offshore operation of our wind turbines in the Nordseecluster Offshore Wind farm, consisting of 104 V236 wind turbines with 15 MW each and a resulting total capacity of over 1.5 GW.
You will work in a key role of our Service team. Temporarily travel to other Offshore wind farms within Vestas for training, education and sharing experience is a vital part of the offered position. As an Deputy Supervisor, you will work in a team of 3 or more technicians and also - when not working in the field - support the Site Management of the Windfarm in order to ensure a smooth and reliable operation of our wind turbines.

Your main tasks:

Manage and coordinate service operations on site in cooperation with the Offshore Service Supervisor, which consist of:

• Plan & coordinate service tasks on a daily basis
• Organize vessel + O&M team transfers
• Monitor weather forecasts
• Prepare transfer plans + Daily reports
• Create and manage work orders in SAP & Approve hours of technicians
• Maintain and update planning board
• Assist the implementation of new procedures/processes
• Planning of annual service and maintenance
• Input to Monthly Customer Report
• Ensure implementation of Upgrades
• Cooperate with the customer representatives to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Being part of and lead the team of offshore engineers on the wind turbines
• Fault finding and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems
• Completing scheduled service on wind turbines
• Act as Operational Controller and as SAP/ HV Control person
• Compliance to Vestas Health and Safety Standards
• General support to the Service Manager

Your qualifications:

• You completed an electrical degree from a technical school/college/university
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
• You have professional wind turbine experience.
• You are comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings.
