German-Speaking Collections Officer in Malta

Our client is seeking a German-speaking Collections Officer to join their Malta team. Reporting directly to the German Team Leader, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for sales, customer onboarding, handling inquiries, and liaising with the collections department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information to customers regarding the bank’s products, services, and payments
• Actively solicit new sales following the company’s strategy and guidelines
• Respond to customer queries via telephone, live chat, email, and SMS
• Support onboarding processes, including document verification
• Work closely with other departments, particularly payments and collections, to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
• Promote excellent customer experiences in all interactions
• Clarify and complete other assigned tasks as required

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in creating sales reports
• Support training and mentoring of new team members
• Help document operational procedures
• Suggest improvements to systems, processes, and workflows
• Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by the Head of New Markets

Requirements

• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
• Experience in customer service and sales of financial products
• Experience with client onboarding and document verification
• Strong communication skills with a results-oriented mindset
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and high personal work standards
• Team player with strong customer service focus
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
