Senior Sales Manager - Technology Provider

They are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Strategic Alliances & Business Development to lead global partnership initiatives across technology, telecommunications, and cloud infrastructure sectors. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise, with a deep understanding of security, cloud, SDN/NFV, and mobile evolution, including IoT and 5G.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing high-value strategic relationships with global System Integrators, telco vendors, and cloud providers to drive growth, expand market presence, and exceed annual revenue and partnership goals.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and execute strategic partnership opportunities with global telco/wireless vendors, cloud service providers, and system integrators.
- Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for key alliance partners and channels, aligning closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
- Structure, negotiate, and close large-scale national and international business contracts and partnerships.
- Lead cross-functional teams to launch joint solutions and initiatives that deliver value to both partners and customers.
- Track, analyse, and report on the performance of partnership and channel programs, ensuring KPIs and MBOs are met or exceeded.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap based on market trends, partner feedback, and industry evolution.
- Serve as a thought leader, representing the company at industry conferences, events, and with executive stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across internal and external teams.
Skills/Must have:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Product Management, or Channel Partner leadership roles within the technology or telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic partnerships and alliances with global system integrators, telecom vendors, and cloud providers.
- Deep industry relationships within wireless equipment/solution vendors and a strong understanding of telco ecosystems.
- Proven expertise in security infrastructure, DDoS mitigation, application networking, SDN/NFV, cloud infrastructure/services, and mobile network evolution (5G, IoT).
- Track record of developing and closing multimillion-dollar contracts with enterprise and international stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to influence both technical and executive audiences.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to drive initiatives from conception to execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; Master’s degree in Business (MBA) preferred.
