Strategic Product Manager (m/f/d)

As a Global Strategic Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining Nordex's future product portfolio. Working closely with cross-functional teams in the development programs of our new turbines and directly with our top management, you will contribute to product development decisions and shape our global product strategy. Your responsibilities will include market analysis, technical feasibility studies, strategic decision proposals, benchmarking, and more.

YOUR TASKS:

• Market Analysis and Competitiveness Assessment: Conduct market studies, competitor benchmarking, and scenario analysis to contribute to Nordex's global product strategy, ensuring our products maintain a competitive edge.
• Technical Feasibility Studies: Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams to conduct technical feasibility studies for future product concepts, ensuring their viability and market potential.
• Product Development Decisions: Prepare and facilitate product development decisions, including business case analysis, technical concepts, market introduction strategies, and market requirements, in close collaboration with top management.
• Strategic Decision Proposals: Prepare and present strategic decision proposals to top management and board level, influencing key decisions that shape Nordex's product strategy.
• New product launches - customer and sales support: Present our newest products to global key customer accounts in meetings and workshops. Capture ideas and customer requirements to feed them into our new developments. Support sales in proving the value of our innovative products.
• Coordinate the global search for potential prototyping test sites , enabling efficient and effective product testing.
• Ad-hoc Strategic Tasks: Undertake various ad-hoc strategic tasks assigned directly by top management, contributing to Nordex's continuous growth and success.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Technical Expertise: Hold a technical university degree and possess a thorough understanding of engineering concepts, ideally with several years of experience in product management, product development, or strategy within a technical and industrial environment.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Display an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, demonstrating the ability to drive initiatives to success within a complex and dynamic environment.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent analytical and communication skills, enabling you to present complex information effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Global Perspective: Be open to travel and take a global perspective, collaborating with teams across different regions and cultural backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Tools and Languages: Have a strong command of MS Office tools and ideally possess basic programming skills, enabling you to analyze data and streamline processes.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, while proficiency in German and/or Spanish would be advantageous.
